Condition
The colours are fairly accurate in the printed catalogue illustration although the overall tonality tends to be less red in the original work. There is a slight discoloration to some areas, inherent to the artist chosen technique and medium. Carefully restored areas are visible on the reverse of the figure (on the shoulder-blades, elbows, bottoms and feet). A loss is notable in the left hand figure's eyelashes. This work is in good original condition.

Catalogue Note
Ivan Karp, former collaborator of Leo Castelli in New York, ended up opening his own gallery in West Broadway, "Ok Harris". He was the great defender of hyperrealism. We had to insist to have Eileen. It was part of Ivan Karp's private collection.
