Description

  • Guépard (tête tournée)
  • 75,5 x 178,5 x 24,5 cm ; 29 3/4 x 70 1/4 x 9 5/8 in.
2002 patinated and gilt bronze Monogrammed FXL, stamped LALANNE, dated 2002, numbered EA I/IV A and with foundry mark LANDOWSKI FONDEUR CIRE PERDUE on the underside

Condition

Good overall condition. The gilt bronze presents with instances of light oxidation and with some slightly darker stains. There are a few instances of light wear to the gilding. The patinated bronze presents with some scattered wear, partially revealing the original colour of the bronze and with some scatted oxidation concentrated to the lower half and the hindquarters of the leopard. Some more visible oxidation traces and vert-de-gris stains on the feet and at the tip of the tail. All consistent with age and use.
