Description

  • 14 and 25.5 cm, 5 1/2  and 10 in.
both painted to the upper body with decorative motifs, the smaller jar of Machang type, set with a strap handle to one side; the other of Banshan type, with a strap handle to the shoulder and another strap handle to the middle section of the body

Condition

The smaller jar has some shallow flakes, especially to the mouth and one spot to the body. The larger jar has a 2.8 cm chip to the mouth and a few shallow flakes to the body, the largest approx. 2.2 cm. Both jars also have some surface pitting, scratches and wear, in addition to original flaws.
