Description
- 13.8 and 14 cm, 5 3/8 and 5 1/2 in.
each of circular form, one raised on a splayed foot and carved in relief on the cover with a pair of phoenix against floral scrolls; the other supported on a shorter footring, the cover decorated with a coiling dragon

Condition
The lower section of the dragon box has been broken in two and professionally restored, the cover is in good condition. The cover of the phoenix box has also been broken in two and professionally restored, while the box itself is in good condition. Both boxes with expected shallow flakes along the rim and minor abrasion to the glaze.
