Description

  • 20.5 cm, 8 in.
each decorated in cobalt blue with dense floral scrolls, the cover surmounted by a finial modelled in the form of a peach, the interior of the box divided into five compartments and and further painted with bats and peaches

Condition

Each box has a chip to the internal compartment (max. approx. 1.5 by 1.5 cm). Two short hairlines to the rim of one cover with associated small losses. Scratches and glaze losses especially to one compartment. Typical firing imperfections.
