Catalogue Note

The colophon states that this Qur'an was copied by "the order of the most exalted" by Ahmad al-Nayrizi in 1119 AH/1707-08 AD and that this was the eighteenth he has copied. A later nineteenth century note at the end of the manuscript states that this Qur’an belonged to Husayn ‘Ali Khan, the grand father of the writer of the note, who is passing it on to a certain Mirza Ahmad Khan.
