Very good condition overall with dense, closely woven pile, evenly sheared approximately 3-4 mm in depth. Flexible handle, original side and end finishes. There are hanging loops on the reverse of the upper edge, which will account for its lack of wear. Fringes in good condition; there is section of discolouration in one area of the fringe, which would probably imporove with cleaning and overall the carpet would probably benefit from a light clean. Overall a very smart example with unusual border design.
