Catalogue Note

with a row of seven horned animals in a band at the upper end of the field.  Herrmann interprets "these seven dogs, as referring to the key number of the moon. Counting the full, half and quarter lozenges adds to 49 or 7 x 7 which should be interpreted as completion of the moon cycle over 18 years."
