the exterior set with colourful stones against a ground of engraved foliate details and inscriptions, woven textile set on the base of the inside, hinged decorative clasps, with spurious date 1015 AH/1608-9 AD
Condition
The stones foil-backed, some stones faceted and some set as cabochon, one missing revealing foil backing, some probably later replacements, some dirt encrustation around crevices, some wear to textile on interior, minor sections of oxidisation, particularly visible to interior, as viewed.
