Condition
The canvas is lined. It has not been possible to see the work entirely unframed. Examination under UV light reveals spots and lines of retouching in places most predominately in the lower right quadrant, and a few further smaller dots of retouching in places. There are scattered dots of superficial dirt notably towards the center of the lower edge. There are a few lines notably an horizontal trace along the left part of the upper edge and a diagonal line, possibly repaired tear, running across the lower right quadrant. There are a few paint loss in places mainly along the extreme edges. This work is in overall fairly good condition and could benefit from a light clean.
