Condition

Overall in very good condition. The glass with minor, light surface scratches throughout, not visually obtrusive due to the quartz-like figuring and depth of the pink hues. The sculpture with some minor surface dirt in recessed areas of the design and minute abrasions, mostly concentrated to the proper right wing. The pate de cristal with minor air bubbles and particulate inclusions inherent in the making and not at all visually distracting. The glass with some minor crizzling, mostly concentrated on the torso, neck and face of the figure, consistent with the natural aging process of the material. A particularly fine example of the swirling mix of opaque and color glass that was a hallmark of Argy-Rousseau's craft.
