Condition
Overall in very good condition. The glazed surfaces with scattered minor surface irregularities, inherent to production, and with some scattered minute abrasions to the textured glazed surface, only visible upon close inspection and not visually detractive. The socket with minor traces of adhesive residue, not visible with the shade installed. The shade with some scattered minor discolorations and light wear consistent with age and gentle use. The present lamp is a wonderful example of Jean Besnard's ceramic work. Sotheby's does not guarantee electrical components and suggests having all wiring inspected by a licensed electrician.
