Condition

Executed on thick cream wove paper, not laid down, affixed to the mount with transparent plastic supports at all four corners. The all four edges are slightly unevenly cut. There are a repaired tear (approx. 7 cm long) with an associated crease (approx. 4 cm long) towards the lower left corner and a smaller repaired tear (approx. 1 cm long) to the upper part of the right edge. There is a repaired paper loss (approx. 1 cm wide) to the lower part of the right edge, and some minor paper skinning towards the extreme edges and to the upper left quadrant. There is some glue remnant to the centre of the left edge. There are a few media marks in places, notably to the women's face. The sheet is light stained with a few scattered dots of foxing. This work is in overall fairly good condition.
