Catalogue Note

Apart from Australia, sports are illustrated from around the world - Arab, Egyptian, Russian, Mamaluke, German, American, Mexican, African, Asian, etc. There is a section on bull-fighting as well as hunting whales. This undated edition is very similar to the copy described by Schwerdt as large paper, with gilt vignettes of a tiger and stag on the spine.
