Condition

This work is in very good condition overall. The hat component rests securely on the bird's beaks. The surface soiling, pigment irregularities, aging and pigment losses are consistent with the artist's choice of medium and working method. Under close inspection, there is evidence of minor surface soiling and dust accumulation.
