A l’œil nu : La toile a été récemment rentoilée. Aucune altération majeure n’est à regretter, si ce n’est une petite retouche au-dessus du personnage féminin à droite. La peinture est couverte d’un beau réseau de craquelures et d’une couche de vernis claire. A la lampe U.V. : On remarque des traces de vernis ancien ; une large zone de retouches peut être observée à l’arrière du personnage féminin à droite, ainsi qu’à son côté. Vendu avec un cadre sculpté et en bois doré, dans un état de conservation satisfaisant (quelques éclats et altérations). Under the naked eye: The canvas has been newly relined. No major damages seem to be apparent, apart from a small retouched damage (?) above the head of the lady on the right. Covered with a fine craquelure pattern and a clear varnish layer. Under UV light: The varnish layer seems clear with small traces of the old varnish layer; a larger area of retouching can be seen on the back of the lady on the right as well as to her side. Offered with a carved and giltwood frame, in fairly good condition (some chips and damages).
