of compressed globular form with lobed sides, an applied curled stem emerging from the convex center of the cover, applied overall in a translucent light turquoise-blue glaze save for the rim and base left unglazed revealing the white body

Condition

The box and cover are in general good condition, with the exception of small areas of restoration to the exterior of the box (approx. 2 x 2 cm), and an area of restoration to the finial of the cover (approx. 2 x 2 cm). There is a small chip to the rim of the box (approx. 0.5 x 0.5 cm).
