carved in openwork with confronting coiling dragons, their mouths agape and their bodies rendered with stylised scrolls, the stone of a pale celadon tone variegated with brown tones and dark patches

Condition

The jade carving is in good condition, with the exception of a tiny nick to the mouth of one chilong, and with a small chip to its bottom. The other chilong with slight calcification on its back. With further minor nicks to the extremities.
