  • 17 cm, 6 3/4  in.
carved in the form of two adjacent hollowed tree trunks issuing gnarled pine branches and bearing leaves, the front depicting a recumbent deer gazing at a flying bat above, the smoothly polished stone of a variegated green colour with dark specks

Condition

This carving is in good condition, with the exception of minor nicks to the extremities and some small bruises in various areas. There are some natural fissure running through the stone, along with natural inclusions.
