the globular body rising from a short spreading foot to a short waisted neck with everted rim, moulded around the middle of the body with a single rib and set at the shoulder with a pair of lion mask handles suspending fixed rings, covered overall in a rich streaky purple-red glaze thinning to a buff tone at the rim and handles, neoclassical mount

Condition
The vase in overall good condition apart from general glaze crack and associated numerous minute glaze flakes, the base is fixed to the mount with associated over painting to the metal.
