Provenance

Acquired in Paris in 1980.

Condition

The vase as illustrated in the catalogue is in general good condition with the exception of restoration to the glaze around the rim, extending approx. 7 cm down to the interior and approx. 3 cm down to the exterior. The foot is slightly rough with some shallow chips. The other pieces are in overall good condition. The jar and cover with minor glaze flakes to the rim and exterior, the cover with a shallow chip to the rim and another to the inner rim of the interior (both approx. 1 cm). One bowl with scalloped sides with some minor frits to the rim. All with some slight surface scratches, and minor kiln imperfections including minor iron spots, burst bubbles and tiny glaze inconsistencies.
