the multi-armed Daoist diety seated on a lotus throne, all supported on a separate oval base modelled in high relief with four acolytes and a dragon; together with a Dehua figure of Guanyin, Kangxi period

Provenance

Hotel des Ventes Drouot, Paris in 1980 and 1979 respectively.

Condition

The Doumu with restoration to the shoulders and to eight of the arms, one of which has been re-attached. The base is in good condition. The Guanyin is in general good condition with the exception of a small area of restoration to the glaze to the back of the head and some firing cracks. There are tiny nicks to the extremities for all three.
