the interior painted in red, green, yellow and brown enamels with a lively bird flying over blossoming prunus stems among other foliage, the rim with a band panelled flowers and diaper patterns, the base with an apocryphal six-character Chenghua mark in underglaze blue within a double circle

Condition

The dish is in very good condition with the exception of some glaze firing imperfections including a 1cm., glaze firing crack to the interior and several burst bubble pinholes to the interior and base and some light glaze scratches.
