the ovoid body rising from a spreading flat base to an elongated tall neck with cusped rim, applied in high relief around the exterior with figures and a dragon, covered overall in a creamy-blue glaze, the domed cover surmounted by a large bird and similarly glazed

Condition
The vase is in good condition with the exception of restoration to breaks to approximately half of the rim of the cover, repair to a break of the birds beak on the cover, loss to the moon-shaped section above the ruyi-cloud support, an uneven base to the vase, and degradation to the glaze consistent with burial.
