the square-form body rising from four short legs to a slightly flared rim, the sides flanked with a pair of opposing angular handles, the exterior patinated to a warm light brown colour accentuated by irregular gilt splashes, the base cast with the four characters reading zisun bao zhi (Protected by the children and grandchildren) within a recessed square

Condition

This censer is in good condition but has a slight dent to one corner of the rim. There are two minor linear casting flaws to one corner of the side and some minor nicks to the rim and scratches to the underside of the feet.
