standing foursquare on a rectangular base with the head raised and held slightly to the left, the body with streaky ochre and cream glazes, the breast, crupper and halter straps in ochre hung with green foliate-shaped plaques, the saddle, saddle blanket, hooves and base unglazed, wood stand

Condition

The horse has three restored breaks to each of the rear legs, a restored break to the top of each front leg, restoration to a break at the tail, restoration to breaks across the saddle area; there is flaking and loss to the glazed areas.
