Description

  • gilt bronze
  • The largest: 17.5 cm, 6 7/8  in.
each figure cast standing with eight arms and eleven heads, arranged in three tiers, surmounted by the head of Amitabha, the principal hands held in anjalimudra, the other six fanned out, adorned with jewellery and a billowing celestial scarf

Condition

First figure: There is damage to the left side of the scarf (it is loose) and there is some nicks, scratches and rubbing to the gilding to the hands, arms, heads and feet. Second Figure: the left side of the scarf missing and there is rubbing to the gilding to the hands, arms, heads and feet.
