Description
- jade and wood
- The largest: 17 cm, 6 1/2 in.
comprising: a pale green and buff coloured wrist rest carved in high relief with chilong, wood stand; a celadon jade ink stone; a celadon jade deer and rockwork brushrest, wood stand; and a creamy brown jade 'lotus' washer
Provenance
Purchased in Hong Kong and Singapore between 1979 and 1985.
Condition
Wrist rest: this is in good condition, but does have a small chip to one corner of the top and some nibbles and flakes to the sides. There are some flaws running through the stone.
Ink stone: This is in good condition, but does have a very minor flake/chip to cone corner.
Brush rest: There is a shallow chip (2.3cm by 1cm) to the underside of the rest to one end. There are some flaws running through the stone throughout.
Washer: This is in good condition, but does have a small chip to one of the petals of the lotus.
