of fluted quatrefoil form, the exterior molded with a central stylized flower head circled by four large ruyi on a stripped ground, splashed overall with green, amber, and cream glazes

Provenance

Collection of Mrs. Timmer-Kerkhoven, acquired 1930s-1950s. 

Condition

The cup is in overall good condition for its age and type, with only minor expected wear including minute frits and minor degradation to the glaze from burial. There are only a few small areas of retouching and stabilization at the rim and base.
