the lobed bowl enamelled overall with flowers and foliate scrolls within ropetwist borders, with a central reserve painted in shaded polychrome enamels depicting a woman in traditional dress welcoming a man and titled in Russian 'Dear Guest', struck with maker's mark FR (Cyrillic), 88 standard, scratched inventory number 8800
