Condition
The work has been painted on a silk fan which shows creases inherent to its function. Some of these creases have torn in places and there are some minor associated losses to the paint. There is a small loss to the silk on the right as well as a few minor tears in places. There is staining to the fabric in places and the edges show remnants of old adhesive. The fabric has been glued down onto a card mount and there are some minor bubbles in places, notably to the upper body of the girl. Held in a modern gilt wooden frame behind glass. Unexamined out of frame.
