- sugar bowl 17.5cm., 6 7/8 in. diameter
octagonal panelled form, handle with ivory insulators, engraved crowned monogram RH, incused numbered '6', 22cm., 8 5/8 in. high; together with an electroplated sugar bowl, Arthur Krupp for Berndorf, Vienna, 1891-1927, with engraved crowned monogram R
Provenance
The engraved monogram on the coffee pot is probably for Robert Hugo, Duke of Parma (1909-1974). The engraved monogram on the sugar bowl is probably for Prince Rene of Bourbon-Parma (1894-1962)
Condition
The coffee pot handle loosely fitting with possibly replaced insulators. Otherwise both with fine surface scratches throughout.
