EMERALD AND DIAMOND PENDANT NECKLACE , SIMON RUDLE

The pendant set with an oval emerald stated to weigh 89.90 carats, within a millegrain-bordered mount of foliate design pavé-set with brilliant-cut diamonds, supported by a similar surmount centred on a brilliant-cut diamond, to an articulated necklace composed of collet-set brilliant-cut diamond links, length approximately 445mm, signed S. Rudle, one diamond deficient. 

Clasp stamped PLAT and Pt950 for platinum, stamped with gavel mark. Signed S. Rudle, Handmade to reverse of emerald pendant, pendant surmount and clasp with additional signature. Reverse of pendant additionally stamped 89.9ct, referring to stated carat weight of emerald. Central emerald mid-green, transparent to translucent, with typical inclusions visible to the naked eye, some surface-reaching, measuring approximately 36 x 28 x 15mm (depth approximate, as gauged within the limitations of the mount). Diamonds bright and lively, estimated total diamond weight approximately 33.00 - 38.00 carats, estimated to be approximately H-I colour, VS clarity on average. One diamond deficient in pendant. Links well-articulated, clasp secure. Light scratches to surfaces consistent with wear. Overall in good condition. Overall dimensions of pendant approximately 86 x 70mm. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 152 grams.
