Description
- 133cm. high, 44.5cm. diameter, 52 3/4in., 17 1/2in.
each with a moulded square top above a frieze applied with gilt-bronze mounts depicting female musicians flanking a vase, above elongated anthemion, paterae and eagle, on plinth with leaf cast border
Condition
In overall good condition. Timber surface with minor cracks, chips to edges, old marks and scratches consistent with age and use. Slight wood bending to sides. Gilt-bronze in good condition, minor marks and scratches. Some mounts very slightly loose, but securely attached. Some distress to varnish in places. Pedestal 1: one visible contruction crack across length of top surface. Pedestal 2: with one replaced side moulding to top.
