Folio (365x240 mm.), 92 tavole incise di cui alcune ripiegate, diversi errori nella numerazione delle tavole: la 41 è numerata due volte e la 57 quattro, ampia illustrazione allegorica incisa sul frontespizio, finalini ed illustrazioni xilografiche, iniziali istoriate xilografiche, legatura in piena pergamena rigida coeva, autore e titolo in oro sul dorso, tagli spruzzati, cofanetto, macchie di umidità agli angoli delle prime carte, dorso restaurato, qualche macchia ai bordi del piatto anteriore, macchia di umidità a p. 98

Terza edizione (si veda lotto 59). Opera di straordinaria importanza soprattutto per ciò che concerne la costruzione della Basilica di San Pietro. Le splendide incisioni appartengono sia all’autore stesso che ad altri noti incisori, tra i quali Bartoli, Frezza, Specchi, Westerhout, Alet.
