Condition

Executed on cream laid paper, not laid down and hinged to the overmount with tape in two places along the upper edge. The upper edge is deckled and the three other edges are unevenly cut. The sheet is gently undulating. There are a few pinholes most predominately at the upper corners and towards the centre of the right edge. There is a small repaired tear (approx. 0.5 cm long) to the centre of the right edge. There are a few minor creases predominately to the upper part of the composition. There is a faint and restored orange stain (approx. 0.4 cm wide) towards the ball, few additional faint stains and spots of foxing in places. The sheet is light stained and there is some mount staining along the lower edge (not visible when framed). This work is in overall good condition.
