Etching, circa 1675, a very good impression of Godefrey's fourth state (of six), printing with areas of tone; with The Empty Jug (G. 15), etching, circa 1653, Godefrey's eighth (final) state; with The Schoolmaster (G. 17), etching, circa 1644, Godefrey's third (final) state; and Cornelis Bega, The Mother (Hollstein I. 224.30), etching, mid-17th century, Hollstein's first state (of two)
Condition
With small to narrow margins, each in good condition, unframed. Imperfections to individual sheets include: Mother with Two Children: Glue stains along left edge. The Empty Jug: Glue stains along top and left edge, further faint glue stains verso, one showing through recto in left-hand figure. The Schoolmaster: Faint stains along lower edge verso. The Mother: A small reinforced area in the upper right corner.
