  • Each watercolour and bodycolour, heightened with gold on ivory, gold frames;the first indistinctly signed, both inscribed with sitter's names on the reverse
  • Each 84 by 70 mm; 84 by 71 mm.

Condition

Overall very good. In the left background of his portrait there is a fine line, 25 cm long, running between 8 and 9 o'clock. It seems to be some sort of scratch which shows up as the light catches the gum arabic used in this area. In background for the portrait of the Countess has certainly faded.
