platinum-palladium print, flush-mounted to aluminum, signed, titled, dated, editioned '9/31,' and annotated in pencil and stamped on the reverse, framed, 1996, printed in 1997 (Still Life, unpaginated)
Condition
This photograph is in generally excellent condition. The margins are darkened at the periphery of the image. There are faint fingerprints in the margins. The upper edge of the margin is abraded. The reverse of the mount is abraded along each edge and there are adjacent adhesive remains. The copyright stamp on the reverse is dated '1996' in pencil. Other stamps read as follows: 'In addition to '31' [in pencil] numbered prints of this image in platinum metals, unnumbered silver prints not exceeding a total of '2' [in pencil] may exist' and 'Hand-coated by the photographer.' The following notations are written on the reverse of the print in pencil: '4346' and 'CRANES PAPER ON ALUMINUM PLATINUM-PALLADIUM PRINT MADE MAY 1997.' The reverse is initialed several times in pencil.
