Condition
This ferrotyped print is in generally very good to excellent condition. As is typical of the ferrotyping process, superficial scuffs, pitting, and a slight unevenness of the generally glossy surface are visible upon close inspection. There is a 1/4-inch large circular deposit of indeterminate nature at the right of the ladder. In raking light the following are visible: a fingerprint impression in the lower right quadrant and tiny hairline scratches. Faint raised areas from the hinges on the reverse of the print are visible in raking light along the upper edge of the image. The reverse is faintly age-darkened and soiled. The stamp reads as follows: 'univ. prof. ing. lubomir linhart praha 2 - nové město, ladova a 7' and the annotations in pencil: 'A.M.R. 1927' and 'PF 15664.' When examined under ultraviolet light, this print appears to fluoresce.
