Condition

Not viewed out of the frame. Oil on stable panel. The condition is fair overall, aside from discolored varnish; a few very minor scattered accretions; stable craquelure throughout; a minor diagonal surface scratch, possibly inherent to the panel, extending from the lower edge; and an extremely minor abrasion above the 'B' of the signature. Under UV: varnish fluoresces green. Old fluorescence along the left lower and lower right edges. In a gold frame with classical motifs. There are a number of losses to the outer edges of the frame.
