Condition

The canvas is lined. Painting presents a beautiful image in overall good condition, though some details are a little flat on the background. Minor frame abrasions along edges. Stretcher bar marks are also visible along the edges, though these are not too distracting. Inspection under UV shows scattered spots of retouches on the background and floor. Her pink dress has some larger spots of retouches. In her chin there is some retouching possibly to address an old repair. Painting can be hung as is. Offered in a carved giltwood frame.
