Condition

This very elegant piece is in overall good conserved condition. It has marks and scratches consistent with age and use. There are some minor losses to decoration in edges, feet and near the escutcheons, but are not very noticeable. There are areas of decoration refreshed, namely to black leaf friezes to sides. Nonetheless, the original decoration is still very much extant, displaying nice craquelure on the blue areas, for example. There are shrinking cracks to upper and lower doors as visible in the photographs, which can be minimised. A rare and attractive piece.
