Condition

SUNSET Original canvas. Craquelure pattern throughout sky; some paint loss near centre of upper edge and few spots of paint loss in lower left corner and two smaller spots in lower right corner. No signs of retouching under ultraviolet light. MOONRISE Original canvas. Some occasional signs of craquelure otherwise appears sound. No signs of retouching under ultraviolet light. Held in matching gilt plaster frames.
