Condition
Canvas appears original. The canvas undulates slightly, most visible at the upper left corner. There are one or two instances of minor frame abrasion at the extreme corners. There appears to be a small nick to the surface of the work towards the left centre. There are a small number of flecks of very minor loss to the work, including at the centre of the composition. There is surface dirt to the work and a thick layer of varnish. This excepting, the work appears to be in very good overall condition. The nature of the varnish makes a reading under ultra violet light difficult. The work is held in a gilt painted frame.
