London, Austin/Desmond, Francis Davison Paintings & Collages 1948-83, October - November 2003, illustrated p.46.

All elements of the collage appear securely adhered with some areas of minor lifting. There is some minor rounding to the corners, in keeping with the Artist's working methods, and one or two tiny nicks to the extreme edges, also in keeping with the Artist's working methods. The collage elements are torn, with one small section to the lower left edge that appears to have been torn and reattached, and there are creases and undulations throughout, in keeping with the Artist's materials and working methods. There are one or two spots of adhesive visible in places. There is studio detritus in places and a small number of very small flecks of staining. Subject to the above, the work appears in good overall condition. The work is floated and held behind glass in a stained wooden box frame.
