Condition
The card appears to be sound and stable. There is a pinhole in the right of the card, towards the right edge. There is a very fine crack running diagonally from the upper left corner to the dog's midriff, only visible upon close inspection. There is some minor paint loss to the extreme edges of the card, most noticeable at the extreme left edge. There appears to be some very light surface dirt. This excepting the work appears to be in very good overall condition. Inspection under ultra violet light reveals no obvious signs of fluorescence or retouching. The work is held within a stained wooden frame. Please telephone the department on +44 (0) 207 293 6424 if you have any questions regarding the present work.
