Condition
The sheet is secured to the mount at each of the corners and at one further point at each of the edges. The sheet is slightly deckled at all four edges. The sheet undulates slightly in places, especially around where it is adhered to the mount. There is a slight possible nick to the right hand side of the upper edge, with a further smaller possible instance towards the centre of the upper edge. There is one possible instance of foxing at the upper edge, to the right of the cypress trees. There is some minor evidence of some possible handling marks at the left edge, and some very light surface dirt throughout. Subject to the above the work appears to be in excellent overall condition, with strong fresh passages of colour throughout. The work is window mounted and held behind glass in a simple wooden frame. Please telephone the department on +44 (0) 207 293 6424 if you have any questions regarding the present work.
