Condition
Please note that this work is stretched and unframed. The canvas is unlined. There is an area of white residue measuring approximately 20mm wide within the dark blue script in the upper left hand quadrant which appears to be contemporary to the creation of the work. There is an area of faded red paint to the lower centre of the work, within the white margin, close to the lower framing edge. However, this also appears to be contemporary to the creation of the work. Overall the work appears to be in very good condition. Inspection under ultra violet light reveals no signs of restoration or repair.
