Set with 17 emerald-cut emeralds, spaced by numerous emerald-cut diamonds, further highlighted by round diamonds, length 7½ inches, signed Bulgari; circa 1965. With signed box.
Provenance
Formerly from the Estate of David Niven David Niven, through his effortless charm and dry wit, was one of Hollywood’s most bankable stars from the late 1940s into the ‘70s, often portraying an extension of his own persona: the quintessential English gentleman. He won the Academy Award in 1958 for Separate Tables, but he is perhaps best known for his performances in hugely popular films such as The Pink Panther and Around the World in 80 Days. The sophisticated bracelet offered here, made by Bulgari and thought to date from the 1960s, would have been the perfect accessory for any woman lucky enough to sit beside Mr. Niven at a dinner party as he held a martini aloft, ready to charm his audience.
